Carolyn (Cotter) Whillock, age 86, went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2021 at Jefferson Park Nursing Home, Roger’s Cottage of Dandridge, TN. She was a member of Grace Point Baptist Church. She retired from Tom Solomon Furniture Store. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Edith Cotter of Jefferson City and daughter-in-law of the late Andy and Alice (Atchley) Whillock of Dandridge, TN. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Lefford M. Whillock (L.M.), brother, Charles Cotter and wife Mary Cotter, brother-in-law, Eddie L. Collins, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruby and Gus Lewis, Mabel Jo and Fernley Atkins, and nephew and wife, Rich and Denise Lewis. She is survived by sisters, Mary Ruth Collins of Jefferson City, and Ann (Gary) Ashley of Jefferson City, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William (Bill) and Shirley Whillock of Dandridge, nephews and wives, Jason and Tammy Ashley of New Market, Randy and Heather Ashley of Talbott, Phillip Ashley of Cleveland, niece and husband, Lisa and Russ Flanary of Knoxville, great nieces and great nephews, Will and Morgan Ellis of Georgia, Bryan and Michelle Ashley of Shalimar, FL, Lexi Ashley of Chattanooga, Addison Ashley of Chattanooga, Haley Ashley of New Market, Dylan Ashley of New Market, and Zoey Ashley of Talbott. The family would like to thank Roger’s Cottage of Dandridge and their staff and Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for all the love and support they gave Carolyn. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Carolyn will Lie in State from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home.
