Carolyn McCoig

Carolyn Myers McCoig, age 73, of White Pine, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 27, 2012 at her home. She was a faithful member of Leadvale Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sheilds and Nell Myers, and sister, Kathryn M. Smelcher. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bill McCoig; daughter, Angela (Angie) Johnson and husband Keith; grandsons, Wayne and Mathew Johnson; twin-sister, Shirley M. Ball and husband Harrel; and neice, Teresa B. Smith and husband Chuck; also several church family members. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 7:30pm at Leadvale Baptist Church with Rev, Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Charles Robison officiating. Family will be receiving friends from 5 - 7:30pm prior to the service. Graveside interment will be on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 3:00pm in White Pine Cemetery. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Leadvale Baptist Church: 875 Leadvale Church Road, White Pine, TN 37890.
