Carolyn (Sue) Hardin

CAROLYN (SUE)HARDIN,age 62, of Mascot, TN and formerly of Aurora, IN passed away at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2009 at her residence following a brief illness. She was of the Baptist faith and a loving nanny to many children for nine years. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Luke; mother, Teresa Sams and father-in-law, J. C. Hardin. Survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Paul Hardin; sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Sandra Hardin of Mascot, TN, Shaun and Mary Hardin of Knoxville, TN; loving granddaughter, Sydney Hardin of Mascot, TN; three step-grandchildren, Brandy, Joe and Michael; three step-great-grandchildren; brothers and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. David Luke of Ohio, Bill and Judy Luke of Georgia; sisters, Beverly Craig of Ohio and Penny Luke of Indiana; special niece, Jennifer McGovern of Ohio; several other nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Maria Hardin of Mascot, TN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pam and Jerry Wilmouth of Bean Station, TN; step-father, Herman Sams of Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Sonny King officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Roseberry Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
