CAROLINE KING KENNER, age 79, of Jefferson City, TN and formerly of Knoxville, TN and New Mexico, died Thursday, June 3, 2010. She was a member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church, a graduate of Knoxville High School and attended the University of Tennessee. She retired as a Branch Manager with Bank of America. She was also an accomplished potter and co-owner of Mountain High Pottery in New Mexico with her husband, Harvey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Ellen King and husband, Harvey M. Kenner. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ellen Allen and husband, Jack; son, Milton Kenner and wife, Bobbie; grandchildren, Jason Gentry, Douglas Kenner and wife, Karen, Kristen Davis and husband, Tony, Leigh Ann Russo and husband, Tony, Zackary Kenner and wife, Hannah; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Christus Victor Lutheran Church on Sunday, June 6 at 4:00 p.m. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 4110 Central Avenue Pike, Knoxville, TN 37912.
