CARLA JEAN WHITEHEAD, age 60, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on December 18, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was saved at an early age at Piney Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains, TN and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mildred Haney. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Johnny Whitehead; children, Amy Cameron (Kevin), Travis Whitehead (Nikki), Kristine Haney, Michael Cobble (Sarah), and Ashley Frye (Justin); grandchildren, Ethan, Landon, Jaylynn, Brodie, Brantley, Jensen, Corbin, Jordan, Charlee, Christian, and Abby; great-grandchildren, Austin and Brently; brothers, Steve Haney (Trish), and Carl “Junior” Haney; and a host of other relatives. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home. Body will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Mountain View Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jonathan Lavignette and Rev. Rodney Satterfield officiating. Graveside interment service will follow in the church cemetery.
