CARL WILSON, age 85, of Rutledge, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2003 at his home after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Mary Wilson; brothers, Jade, Tom, Ike, Pete, and George Wilson; sisters, Martha Lawless, Mary Messer, Mildred Kee, and Myrtle Raines. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Audrea Williams Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, Richard Wilson and wife Jane of Rutledge; daughter, Rebecca Bryan and husband Kenneth of Morristown; granddaughters, Lisa Thomas and husband Tim of Rutledge, Stacie Rhodes and husband Brian of Rutledge, Angie Jones and husband Tim of Morristown; great-grandchildren, Anna Marie and Emily Thomas of Rutledge, Allison Jones of Morristown, and Jacob and Sydnee Rhodes of Rutledge; brother, Earnest Wilson of Murfreesboro; sister, Grace Morgan of Rutledge; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, september 29, 2003 at Shiloh Methodist Church in Rutledge, Tn with Rev. Tim Jones, Rev. Brian Rhodes and Rev. Tim McCubbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Methodist Cemetey.The family will receive friends from 6 until 0 p.m. Sunday evening, september 28, 2003 at the funeral home.
