Carl V. Williams

Carl V. Williams, age 90 of Kingsport, TN, formerly of Dandridge passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2002. He was the son of the late Oliver and Rebecca Chambers Williams. Preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Starnes Williams; sisters, Agnes Reneau, Abbey Patterson, Josie Baker and brother, Lon Williams. He was a member of the Mr. Aion United Methodist church and Belvue Christian Church in Kingsport. He was a veteran of World War II, havinga served in the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Ingrid Broome Williams of Kingsport; step-children, Jeannie Broome Hubbard and husband Jim, Dallas Broome and wife Judy, Linda Broome Kellogg and husband Mickey, David Broome and wife Harriet, Libby Broome Brown; 9 step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2002 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Owston officiating. Interment to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive freinds sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the family home, 839 Cobblestone Place, Kingsport, TN and Monday from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to services at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge, Tn.
