Carl Sanford Williams

CARL SANFORD WILLIAMS, age 64, of Dandridge, TN passed away suddenly on April 25, 2009. He was born May 1, 1944, the son of the late Sam Gray and Mamel Hance Williams. He was a retired enployee of BASF and was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served n Vietnam. Survived by sons, Jason Williams of Newport, and Andy (Dawn) Williams of Parrottsville; daughter, Christy (Dwain) Brewer of Bulls Gap; grandchildren, Morgan, Madison and Allison Brewer, Madison and Mason Williams; brother, Sammy (Mary Ester) Williams of Newport; sisters, Shirley Brogdon of Morristonw, Betty (Charles) Gantte of Dandridge, Wanda Cannon of Morristown, Mary (J.C.) Huntsinger of White Pine; special friend, Diana Overholt; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the Jefferson County Shrine club, c/o Sammy Hammer, 1802 Hammer Road, Dandridge, TN 37725. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009 from the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Mike Hensley and Rev. Mika Ladd officiating.
