Carl Leslie Swann

Carl Leslie Swann, age 73 of 1539 Slover Springs Rd. Dandridge, TN passed away at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2003 at his home following a lingering illness. He was the son of the late W. R. and Stella Mae Loveday Swann. Member of the New Beginning Church of God and was retired from Magnavox after 23 years and from Electro boice of Newport. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Josie "Bootsie" Moore Swann; children, Ronnie and wife, nancy Swann, Connie and husband, Bruce Gillpin, Bill nd wife, Donna Swann, Tim and wife, Diane Swann and Chris Swann, all of Dandridge; grandchildren, Crystal Sexton, Heath Alvey, Christopher Swann, Adam Swann, Abby Swann, Matthew Swann, Paige Swann, Dakota Swann; great grandchild, Nicholas Sexton; sisters, louise James and Shirley Edmonds, both of Dandridge; half sisters, Grace Reneau and Betty Rimmer, both of Dandridge; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003 at 8 p.m. from the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jewell Travis officiating. Emtombment will be Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
