C. Ann "Annie" Proffitt

C. Ann “Annie” Proffitt, age 79 of Dandridge, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020. She was a member of Swanns Chapel Baptist Church and spent many years as a seamstress before retiring from Maury Middle School in the cafeteria. Annie is preceded in death by her parents; James Turner Lowery and Johnnie Ruth Kerr Lowery, husband, Raymond Proffitt, son, Phillip Proffitt, daughter, Tammy Miller, and brother, James “Jim” Finley Lowery. She is survived by her grandchildren, Alesha Knowland, Rachael Knowland and Tyler Sellers, 3 great grandchildren, sister, Carolyn Proffitt, brothers, Tim Lowery and Curtis Lowery along with several nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Swanns Chapel Cemetery.
