Burrell Brannon, age 93 of Jefferson City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Winnsboro, South Carolina and lived several years in Alabaster, Alabama. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ella Brannon; wife, Mable Hudson Brannon and sister, Ruby Thornton. He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Melba and Mac Lambert of Jefferson City; three grandchildren, Joan lambert Rundles and husband Gary of Livingston, Alabama, Paul Lambert and wife Theresa of tallahassee, Florida and Burl and wife Amie of Jefferson City; seven great grandchildren, richard, Meghan and Alley Rundles, Carter, Madison Rae, Hank and Neal Lambert; two sisters, Bernice McDonald of Winnsboro, SC and Doris Spires of Columbiana, Alabama; special cousin, Fred Phillips of alabaster, Alabama; several nieces and nephews and many devoted friends. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, 2002 at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Winnsboro, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made to the Forward in Faith Mission Programs of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City, or to your own church.
