BRITTANY DANIELLE DENTON, age 21, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center from the results of a motor vehicle accident. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. A 2008 graduate of Jefferson County High School, she was employed by Covington Credit in Morristown, TN as assistant manager. She is preceded in death by her father, John Denton; grandfather, Ray Denton, Sr.; uncle and aunt, Ray (Berniece) Denton, Jr.; and uncle, Jay Ware. She is survived by her loving mother, Melissa Potter; paternal grandmother, Mary Denton of Morristown, TN; grandfather, Don Cope of Bulls Gap, TN; great-grandmother, Frankie Denton of Newport, TN; maternal grandparents, Tommy and Dot (Nanny) Ware of Jefferson City, TN; grandparents, Tommy and Annette Potter of Morristown, TN; several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends; special friends, Jay and Sheri Cayla and Jacob Johnson. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 12:00 noon graveside interment service.
