BRENDA SUE HOBBY ASHER, age 76 of Dandridge, TN, passed away July 17, 2021. Brenda was a strong Christian woman who loved her family and especially adored her grandchildren. She also loved her church and her church family. She was most known as a child of God and as a prayer warrior who lived life to the fullest. She attended both the Tabernacle of Hope and Dandridge Full Gospel Ministries Church. Brenda also had a sense of humor and could always make those around her smile and laugh. She is survived by her children, Michael (Angie) Hobby and Daryl (Penny) Hobby; grandchildren, Brandon Hobby, Britani (Tracy) Johnson, Jayden Hobby, Brooke Johnson, Stone Johnson, and Logan Johnson; great-grandchildren, McKaylee Hobby-Johnson; and several special nieces and nephews and friends. Brenda is preceded in death by her husbands, Billy Joe Hobby and Walt Asher, parents, Frank Kaylor and Pearl Lawson Kaylor; sisters, Lib, Lola, and Mary Ann; brothers, Clarence, Charles, and Frank Jr. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge Chapel. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:00am at Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville, TN with Pastor Bobby Phillips officiating.
