BRENDA FAYE IDOL HARRIS, age 70, of Knoxville, TN went to be with her Lord on December 24, 2023. She was a “once in a lifetime” person, who would befriend and help anyone who was sick or in need. She was the most loving person and was totally consumed with taking care of her husband and family. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry E. Idol, and Corene Helton Idol Gray; brother, Roy Idol (Sue); sisters, Barbara Seals, Carolyn Cameron (Gary); niece, Starla Cameron; and nephew, Chucky Idol. She is survived by her loving husband, Don Harris; daughters, Penelope Baker Clapp (Donald), and Heather Baker Coffey (Barry); step-children, Cheryl Lynn Shope, Annette Harris, and Ricky Dion Harris; grandchildren, Corene (Will), David (Tabitha), Savannah (Nate), Colbie, Corbett, Brooke and Kacey; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Stacey Farrar (Britt), Sonya Ramsey (Ringo), Selena Byrd, George Cameron (Stacey); Robin Taylor (Leroy), Tony Idol, Jeff Idol (Laura); brother, Charles Idol; and special neighbors and friends, Tom and Diane. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. At her request, no services will be held.
