Boyde Gill

Boyde Gill, age 80, of Dandridge, TN passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. He was a retired Statistician from the Ministry of Health, Ontario, Canada, He was a graduate from Western University of London, Ontario, and was very active in the alumni community, and he also held three other degrees. He was a member of Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church in Dandridge. He was a kind, caring, compassionate, gentle soul. Preceded in death by his parents; Claud and Rose Gill; mother to his children, Linda Taber, He is survived by his wife, Melanie Gill; daughters, Kelly Gill and husband Craig Randell, Christine Gill Agostinelli and companion James Robinson; step-son, Bryan Smith; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew, Adam and Benjamin; brother, Garry and Linda Gill; sister, Sherrill Bell and husband Des; several nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014, 7:00pm at Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church in Dandridge, with the Rev. Larry DeVault officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service at the church. Family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, 1086 E.
