Bonnie Jean Patterson Park

BONNIE JEAN PATTERSON PARK died September 6, 2010 at Sunnybrook Assisted Living in Fairfield, Iowa. She had lived in Iowa since the death of her husband, Kenneth H. Park of New Market, TN in April 2000. Bonnie was a loving mother and friend and a faithful worshiper of God. Her kindness, joyful service and enthusiasm for life were an inspiration to many. She will be missed. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Gale Park of Fairfield and Paulette Park Buckingham of Kalona, Iowa; three grandsons, Joshua Mehaffy of Iowa City, John Mehaffy of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Paul Park of Riverside, Iowa; one great-granddaughter, Emily Jean Mehaffy of Fort Collins; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, T. R. and Sophia Hull Patterson; two sisters, Mildred Rines and Inez Hammer; three brothers, Tom, L. G. and Hull Patterson. A celebration of her life was held Sunday, September 12 at Shiloh Church in Kalona, Iowa.
