LEWIS, age 76 of New Tazewell, TN, formerly of White Pine, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at Claiborne County Hospital. Bonnie (Jahava) was a caring and dedicated caregiver to many families and will be sadly missed by all those she touched and loved throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Swanny and Alma Lewis; brothers, Quack and T. S. Lewis. Survived by special nephew and god-son, Chris and his wife, Misty; her god-grandchildren, C. J. and McKayla Lewis; nephew, Darryl Lewis and his wife, Darla, and their children, Bryan and Katie; special friends and caregivers, Doug and Lou Lou Noah; best friend, Mabel Mabe; and a host of other friends and relatives. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2005 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Lonnie Dalton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2005 at the funeral home to proceed to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
