Bonnie June Hull Griffin

BONNIE JUNE HULL GRIFFIN, age 86, of Knoxville, TN passed away on August 17, 2018 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Bonnie was a member of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, which she attended for many years, where her favorite ministry was working with children. After moving to Lenoir City in 2003, she began attending Pleasant Hills Baptist Church, where she enjoyed many activities with the senior group. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Ray “Pete” Griffin; her parents, Lon Daniel and Josephine Havely Hull; brothers, Frank, Jim, Jack and Fred Hull. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Dennis Duncan of Knoxville, Susan and Michael Casteel of Friendsville; grandchildren, Melissa Kincaid and husband Eric of Knoxville, Katelyn Marshall and husband Ben of Friendsville, and Seth Casteel of Friendsville; great-grandson, Graham Kincaid of Knoxville; sisters, Jane Lowe and husband M. D. of Knoxville, Sarah Hicks of Jefferson City, Kim and husband Mo Jesse Wagner of Jefferson City; sisters-in-law Nancy Moyers of Knoxville, Esther Hull of Talbott; and many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charlie Phillips officiating. Graveside interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
