Bobby Ray Ramsey

BOBBY RAY RAMSEY, age 66, of Dandridge, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at St. Mary?s Medical Center in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Fred and Bertha Ramsey; and brother, James Ramsey. He is survived by children; son, Michael (Lisa) Ramsey; daughters, Michelle Knight, Rosie Akens and Kathy (Scott) Maire; grandchildren, B. J. Knight, Tamara (Michael) Estes, Kayla Jones, Donnie Ray Maire, and Bo Cunnupp; sister, Betty Jean Hickman, Willie Champ, Joyce (Bill) Denton; several nieces and nephews; for Cindy Bales of New Market, he will always be her Daddy Bob; and former wife and caregiver, Evelyn. Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Rev. Jerry Williams officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Piedmont Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
