Bobby R. Gann

Bobby R. Gann, age 75, of Dandridge, TN (Sager Community) , departed this Earthly Home for a Heavenly Home on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 following a brief illness. He was a member of Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid Jefferson County Patriot fan of both football and basketball. He worked for Carson Newman University for the past 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vollie and Pauline (Miller) Gann; sisters, Judy Kay Gann of the home, and Frances (Dick) Hall of Frankfort, IN; brothers, Ottis (Rosa) Gann of Talbott, and Carroll Gann of Dandridge. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Alberta Lee Gann; son, Bobby David (Angela) Gann of Dandridge; four grandchildren who were the loves of his life, Alesha Mae, Sereina Katherine, McKinezie Thor and Pieper Jane all of Dandridge; special sisters, Betty Boots of Frankford, IN, and Nancy (Dennis) Green of Morristown, TN; brother, George Gann of Dandridge and sisters, Martha Gregg and Jan Regan of Piedmont; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of beloved church family. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 from Farrar Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Roger Porter and Rev. Mike Elkins officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm prior to the funeral services. Family and friends will gather 10:45 a.m. Wed. Nov. 4, 2015 at Sartain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
