Bobbie J. Whitlock

BOBBIE J. WHITLOCK, age 83 of Jefferson City, TN was called home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, February 2, 2018. She was a retired Postmaster of New Market Post Office and was of the Baptist faith. She was the daughter of the late Jack D. and Clara (Blackburn) McGehee and was preceded in death by her son, Steve Whitlock; sister and brothers-in-law, Betty and George Gibbs and Bob Shockley. Bobbie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Cecil Ed Whitlock; daughters and sons-in-law, Janet (Jason) Ballinger, Debbie (Charlie) Roth, son, Larry (Elaine)Whitlock; grandchildren, Allison Asquith, Brian and Bradley Roth, Clarissa Sweeley, Marshall Keiffer, Amanda (Josh) Radford; great-grandchildren, Cassidey, Caitlyn and Cendall Crater; Siblings Mary Lyda Shockley, Ann (Glenn) Carpenter, Roberta (Ray) Bishop, Barbara (Jimmy) Garland, Ruby (Danny) Young, Jackie (Larry) Winter, Helen (Rick) Green, James (Rosemary) McGehee; sister in-law & brother in-law, Lois (Frank) Howard, Ivon Whitlock. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.
