Bob Garland

BOB GARLAND, age 70, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away Monday, June 4, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors. Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Helen Garland; grandparents, Jasper and Dollie Wilson. Survived by sons, Buddy (Tammy) Garland of Strawberry Plains, Eddie Garland of Strawberry Plains; daughters, Cheryl (Tobey) Hellard of Strawberry Plains, and Helen Garland of Iowa; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends; special companion, Carol Wilson of Strawberry Plains. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Shady Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Jones officiating. Receiving of friends will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
