He was a member of Edgefield United Methodist Church (Piney Flats), and a retired chemical operator from Tennessee Eastman Corporation with 29 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Mildred Moyers. Survived by loving wife of 45 years, Helen Moyers; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Linda Moyers of Centerville, VA; granddaughter, Joleigh Grace Moyers; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Amy Moyers of Piney Flats, TN; granddaughter, Shelby Moyers; grandson, Shuler Moyers; sisters, Janie Flynn and Sandra Leftwitch; brothers, Sammy Moyers and Jim Moyers; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2006 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Reverend Estel Williams officiating. Friends may call at their convenience Sunday afternoon, May 21, 2006 from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
