Billy Joe Edmonds

Billy Joe Edmonds, Sr. “Papaw” age 85 passed away on July 4th, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nancy Edmonds, infant daughter, Lucy Jane, brothers, Melvin, Junior, Paul and Frankie, sisters, Agnes Moody and Mary Lou Edmonds, grandson, Joseph Bowling. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Virginia, sons, Joe (Gail), Kenny (Samantha) and Wayne (Robin), daughters, Sue (BB) Bishop, Karen (Darrell) Turley and Marie Bowling, 15 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, brother, James Edmonds and several nieces, nephews and special niece Brenda Jean Trent. Friends may pay their respects between the hours of 4-7:00pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City. Graveside Interment Service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, 11:00am in Indian Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stevie Williams and Rev. Henry Greer officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jason, Jut, Adam, Dustin, Trey and Elijah. The family would like to express a special Thank You to Suncrest Home Health, Suncrest Hospice and Grainger Co. EMS.
