Billy Thomas Bailey

BILLY THOMAS BAILEY, SR., age 44, of Morristown, TN, born January 8, 1977, went to be with our beloved heavenly father, his personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, June 21, 2021 following a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Bailey; father, Billy G. Bailey, Jr.; and baby brother, Pvt. Fabian S. Wehr. He is survived by his only son, Billy T. Bailey, Jr.; his loving mother, Cathy A. Bailey; caring grandparents, Billy G. Bailey, Sr., John and Glenda McCoart; two grieving sisters, DeAnna Bailey-Mullins and Shannon & Danielle Hazeltine; nieces and nephews, Kaden B. Mullins and Jonah Mullins, Ayla W. L. Bivens and Sophia A. R. Bivens; uncles, Ricky McCoart & Jodie, and Doug Bailey; aunts, Lou Ann, Barbie, Debbie, Laura and RoxAnn Bailey, and Yvonne McCoart; and lots of loving and caring cousins and friends. Billy was a “97” graduate and football star of Luther, OK. He was cherished and loved by many. He was a serious person about his family, liked to cut-up and enjoy life, loved old school music and gaming with family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Body will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family and friends will then gather at Emma Jarnagin Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Rev. T. H. Ferrell officiating.
