Billie Jo Valentine

Billie Jo Fuson Valentine, age 88, of Strawberry Plains, TN finished her final journey to Heaven on September 7, 2024. She has traveled many miles with her husband of 58 years in the ministry of the Lord. Her life has affected and encouraged so many on this journey. They evangelized and pastored 3 churches, including Blue Springs Church of God for approx. 20 years. She participated in nursing home ministry in Dandridge for over 40 years. She loved to sing and play the piano whenever there was an opportunity. One of her main ministries was her love for her community friends; witnessing and praying for them.

Billie Jo was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rev. Charles Valentine in 2011. She is also preceded in death of her parents, Virgil, and Flossie Fuson; her sisters and brother. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives that she loved as her own, Sis Valentine will be greatly missed by her church family at Blue Springs Church of God. Another warrior has gone home.

Visitation will be at Blue Springs Church of God Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The funeral will be at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Ingram officiating. Graveside interment service will be Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Barbourville City Cemetery in Knox County Kentucky. Family and friends may call at their convenience, Monday, September 16, 2024.
