He was in the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and was retired from Knox Tenn Rental and Star Construction. Preceded in death by parents, Claybe and Geneva (Wilson) Gann; granddaughter, Sharina Dean Wolfe. Survived by son, Billy Raye Gann and wife, Suzanne of Jefferson City; daughters, Penny Kaye Adcock of Knoxville, Shari Roberta Wolfe of White Pine, Candi Naomi Dalton and husband, Gerald, of Kentucky Veronica Mae Alleshouse and husband, James of Kentucky; eleven grandchildren; brothers, Robert Junior (Robby) of Alabama, Bobby Edgar (Bob) Gann and wife, Freda, of Dandridge; mother of his children, Carolyn Mowry; uncles, Robert J. (Bob) Wilson of Dandridge and Jack Gann of Florida; aunt Pauline Ehterton of Chestnut Hill; several nieces, nephews and other relatives, and special friends of TR Truck Stop. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2005 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Mike Sledge and Reverend Ben Knight officiating. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Hillcrest Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
