Beulah Mayes Horner

BEULAH “MAYES” HORNER, age 85, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2017 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a faithful member of Oak Hills Baptist Church, and a powerful prayer warrior for all. She retired from Magnavox after 40 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Hubert and Grace McDaniel Mayes; brothers and sisters, H. P. Jr., Sam, James and Gene Mayes, Mary Morgan and Estelle Human. Survived by son, Mark Horner; brother, Charles Mayes; four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Rhodes, Pastor John Lawson and Rev. Michael Carter officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
