Bettye J. Murphy

BETTYE J. MURPHY, age 85, of New Market, TN passed away Monday, March 30, 2015. Preceded in death by husband, Alvin E. Murphy; and infant daughter, Rebecca Murphy. She was of the Methodist faith, and was a loving mother, grandmother and faithful Volunteer fan. Survived by sons, Ed Murphy (Linda), and Stanley Murphy; grandchildren, Justin, Alicia, Rebecca, Stanley II, and Shane; great-grandchildren, Oscar, and Baby Brooklyn; brother and sisters, Lillian Hart, Bill Bull (Shirley) and Ella Mae Fox (William); brothers-in-law, Clifford Murphy (Juanita), Reed Murphy (Lois), and Van Murphy (Wanda); several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Darris Doyle officiating.
