Betty Maples Williams

BETTY MAPLES WILLIAMS, age 82, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday afternoon, October 20, 2016, at the Chandler House of Jefferson City. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge and will be remembered for her helpful kindness and volunteer work with hospice and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Williams; parents, Pearl and Hallie Maples; several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Marti Williams Dotson and step-children, Guy Williams and Paulette Williams Maples (Dwight); several step-grandchilden and great-grandchildren; brothers, Glenn Maples and wife Monnagail and Harold Maples and wife Betty; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 23, 2016, 4:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Dandridge with Rev. Jimmy Norris officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 246, Dandridge, TN or the Jefferson Co. Habitat for Humanity, P.O. Box 346, Jefferson City, TN 37760. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00pm prior to services at the church.
