Betty A. Swann

BETTY A. SWANN, age 68, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Lakeway Regional Hospital following a brief illness. She had attended the Mt. Vale Church of God all of her life and loved her church family. She was the daughter of the late John and Amanda Mae Kimbrough Proffitt and was preceded in death by her son, John P. Swann and former husband, A. B. Swann, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Ann Swann Fain of Dandridge; son, Samuel R. (Cindy) Swann of Dandridge and A. B. Swann, Jr. of Talbott; six grandchildren, Travis, Brian, Sammie and Lexie Swann, Jesse "Sib" Fain and Cameron Dale Hoglan; brother, Keith "Boodaddy" (Glenda Sue) Proffitt; niece, Lisa (Kevin) Proffitt; special friend, Kenton "Wayne" Parsons; special caregiver, Thurman Carroll Mayes. Funeral service will be Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Vale Church of God with Rev. Tony Collins and Rev. William Curtis officiating. Interment to folow in Ebenezer UMC Cemetery.
