Betty Ruth Potter

Betty Ruth Potter, age 78 of New Market, TN, went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2025 at home. Her hobbies included art and politics. She retired from Magnavox after 30 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Elizabeth “Leo” Johnson, brothers, Ahaz “AJ” Andrew Johnson, and Troy Johnson.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Stacey) Aron, Lisa Dawson, Tessie (David) Crusenberry, and Charles Ellis, grandchildren, Casey Crusenberry, Rachael Crusenberry, Bradley (Tabby) Dawson, Elizabeth (Caleb) Dill, Seth (Hailey) Aron, Nikki Ellis, Brandon Ellis, Kaleen Cameron, and Brianna Dawson, great-grandchildren, Everlee Grace Dill, Greyson River Crusenberry, and Aristos Jack Dawson, and several other great-grandchildren, brother, Michael Johnson, sister-in-law, Judy Johnson, and several other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. David Rathbun officiating. A private family graveside will be held at a later time.
