Betty "Nana" Kear

BETTY “NANA” KEAR, age 91, of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by parents, Isaac and Laura Shelby; sisters, Mildred Dalton (Frank), Vivian Johnson (Bob); brother, Ray Shelby. She was a member of Buffalo Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Ray Kear; daughters, Pat Plemens and Judy French (Bob); grandchildren, Kim Evans, Jeff Wright, Shane French, Tami Whillock; great-grandchildren, Eric, Maggie, Raylee, Ashlynn , Emily, Madison, Abby, Tyler, Nate, Nick and Daisy; great-great-grandchildren, Peyten, Cate and Hazely; sisters, Reba McMahan and Jo Stormer; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Farrar Funeral with Rev. John Pinkston officiating. Interment will follow in Buffalo Grove Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
