BETTY JEAN STUBBLEFIELD FARLEY, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2014. She was the youngest of nine children, who have all preceded her in death, born to Ernest William and Mattie Ida Stubblefield. Betty was a long time resident of Morristown, TN, but did spend her last four months of life in Griffin, GA as a resident of Brightmoor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Forrester Farley. She left behind two daughters, Dianne Jordan and Sherry Bibbins, along with five grandchildren, Anissa, Chanda, Lane, Michael and Michala; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was a long time member of Magna View Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be missed greatly, and was a wonderful example of how to share love and joy to everyone around her. She was a caring mother and friend whose life was guided by the values of her faith. Her family wishes to thank the caring, compassionate staff at Brightmoor Nursing Home and Hospice Care for lovingly caring for her and her family. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Harris officiating. She will be laid to rest at Hamblen Memory Gardens following the service.
