Betty Henry Fulweiler

BETTY HENRY FULWEILER, age 82, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at home on Saturday, October 31. 2009. She was a lifelong resident of Jefferson City and an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Jefferson City. She received her education at Carson Newman College and East Tennessee State University. Upon graduation, she began a 32 year professional career as an educator for Jefferson County Schools. She was a member of the DAR, Delta Kappa Gamma and the Jefferson City Modern Literary Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fulweiler and her parents, John and Mary Lou Henry. Survived by her daughters, Susan Fulweiler Creel and Kathy Fulweiler Weems, as well as her son-in-law, Jeff Weems; and granddaughter, Megan Creel. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Russ Weekley and Reverend Glenda Hollingshead officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the church. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Jefferson City, the Humane Society of Jefferson County, or to Noah's Arc, Inc.
