She and her husband, Arvin, were the former owners and operators of Duvall Grocery of Strawberry Plains. Preceded in death by her husband, Arvin Duvall; parents, C. W. and Sarah Lou Gann Whittaker; brother, James Albert Whittaker. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Twinkle Duvall; grandchildren, Kelli Huffaker, Candice Hensley; great-grandson, Isaac Hensley. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Brother Pete Higgs officiating. Interment graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at McCampbell's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the services at the Funeral Home.
