Betty Kate Boatman

BETTY KATE BOATMAN, age 73, of Jefferson City, TN passed away suddenly in Atlanta, GA on Friday, May 29, 2009. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She retired from North American Phillips (Magnavox) with 35 years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arville and Cotton Boatman; son, Terry Lee Boatman; and sister, Jessie Ray Brinkley. She is survived by granddaughters, Carrie King, Casey Boatman and Stacy Anderson; six great-grandchildren, all of Jefferson City; niece, Kitty Cannon of Florida; several cousins and a very special friend, Lillian Large of Jefferson City. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Sean watson officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Jefferson memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
