Betty Ann Parker Sliger

BETTY ANN PARKER SLIGER, of White Pine, TN walked through the pearly gates of Heaven on November 4, 2014. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Henry Barnette; her parents, Briscoe and Eula Parker; brothers, Henry, Donal and Howard Parker; sisters-in-law, Darlene Brockwell Parker and Viva Reneau Parker. Betty is survived by her husband, Arthur E. (Eddie) Sliger; daughters, Rhonda Barnette and Kimberly (Kenneth) Harrison; son, Michael (Karen) Barnette; grandchildren, Cory Barnette, Matthew and Keylan Harrison, and Steven Barnette; sisters, Jean Brady, Kathy (Larry) Spears and Darlene (John) Scruggs; brothers, Doyle (Brenda) and Roger (Sandy) Parker; and a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow immediately thereafter with Rev. Jack Greene officiating. A private scattering of ashes will be held by the family at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
