She was born and raised in Old Hickory, TN, the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Ada Parris Harrison. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who served faithfully with her husband during his many years of service in the Holston Conference. She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and worked along side her husband in South East Asia and Central Africa in the Congo as missionaries. Survived by her husband, Donald Moore, a retired clergyman of the Holston Conference; children, Donna (Dave) Collins of Richmond, VA, Stacy (Matt) Lynch of Fayetteville, NC and Russell Moore of Mansfield, TX; six grandchildren; sister, Nathaline McCartha of Chapin, SC; brother-in-law, Max Moore. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Gerald Sanders and Reverend Mark Hicks officiating. Interment to follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
