BERTHA MARSHALL WALKER , age 85, of Jefferson City, TN passed away 8:40 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2009 at her residence. She was a member Cedar Hill Church God.. She was a retired Registered Nurse. Preceded in death by loving husband of 61 years,Virgil W. Walker; Daughter,Terrie Walker Key; father and mother, James A. and Nettie P. Marshall; Sisters, Lottie Denniston and Juanita Hankins. She is survived by daughters, Mickie McCarter and husband Gary, Kathy Quarles and husband Rodney, Becky O?Baugh and husband Mel; son, Jerry Walker and wife Beverly; grandchildren, Jason McCarter, Richie Wilhite, Michael McCarter, Traci Key, Kevin Key, Carrie Vogt, Jeremy Bull, Joseph Bull, Amber Adams, Lacey Walker and Abby Walker; nine great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Whitehead, Nettie Holt, and Billie Springer; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers,Cheryl Mooneyham, Stacy Mooneyham, Bryan and Whitney Mooneyham. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 21 , 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral services. Family and friends will gather 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
