Bertha Lawson McCall

BERTHA LAWSON MCCALL, age 92, of Strawberry Plains, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Strawberry Plains. Our beloved mother is preceded in death by her father and mother, Horace and Melvina Lawson; husband of 74 years, Charlie McCall; grandson, Bart McCall; sister, Anna Lou Webb; and brother, Robert Lawson. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Brenda McCall; daughters, Diane Wilson and Charlotte Bounds; grandson and wife, Taft and Desirea Wilson; granddaughter and husband, Peyton and Brian Daley; great-grandchildren, Michael Wilson, Tegan and Camille Daley; brothers, Carl, Russell, Ralph, Harold, Bill and Clarence Lawson; sisters, Gladys Baumgardner and Jeanette Breeden. Special thanks to Amedisys Home Health Care and Smoky Mountain Hospice for their loving care. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, June 16, 2011 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Friday morning at Strawberry Plains Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
