Bernice Joy Shropshire

Bernice Joy Shropshire, age 71, of Dandridge, TN, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2003. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Hal and Florence Lichlyter and sister, Gladys Fox. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Abe Shropshire; children, David Shropshire and wife, Becky, Calvin Shropshire and wife, Joyce, Troy Shropshire and wife, Becky, Debra Summey and husband, John, Janet Underwood and husband Joe, and Tammy Collier; 20 plus grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2003 at the Indian Crek Church of God with Rev. Lennie Henry and Rev. Mitchell Woodson officiating. Interment will follow at the Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Indian Creek Church of God.
