Bernice C. Salley

BERNICE C. SALLEY, age 84 of Dandridge, TN passed away Sunday morning, August 5, 2012 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was an active member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Bernice was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, earning the rank of first lieutenant and was a retired registered nurse having worked at several Knoxville area hospitals. Survived by husband of 60 years, Charles M. ?Chuck? Salley, Sr.; children, Charles M. Salley, Jr. of Tacoma, WA, Vivian G. Salley of Dandridge, and David L. Salley of Knoxville, TN; sister, Beatrice Boersa of Compton, CA. A funeral mass will be held Sunday, August 12, 2012, 3:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Father Dan Whitman officiating. Inurnment service to follow in the church columbarium with military honors.
