Bernice C. Lounsberry

Bernice Christena (Atwell) Lounsberry, age 83, of Jefferson City, TN was born on June 22, 1939 in Andover, NY and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2022.  She was a 1957 graduate of Andover Central School.  She loved to spend her time outdoors, such as camping, traveling, and spending time with family.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Glenn Lounsberry, parents, Wilmer and Margaret (Green) Atwell, brothers, Paul Atwell and John Atwell, sister, Ruth Atwell sisters-in-law, Louise Nye and Kathleen Murray.  She is survived by daughters, Christine (Seth) Burton of Greenwood, NY, and Peggy (John) Bartle of Spring Hill, FL, grandchildren, Angela (Jacob) Brewster of Andover, NY, Steven Burton of Greenwood, NY, Amanda Bartle of Spring Hill, FL, and Joseph Bartle of Spring Hill, FL, great-grandchildren, Makaila Brewster of Andover, NY, Kaiden Brewster of Andover, NY, and Kailynn Harned of Spring Hill, FL, sister, Virginia Thompson of Jefferson City, TN, brother-in-law, Robert (Mattie) Lounsberry of Greenwood, NY, sisters-in-law, Evelyn Cornell of Bunch, OK, and Arlene Atwell of Nicholson, PA, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.  A memorial service will be held on October 22, 2022 at Andover Alliance Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Phil Barner officiating with calling hours will start at 1:00 p.m.
