BERNICE STRANGE HALL, age 84, of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016. Bernice was a member of Swanns Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and will be remembered as a precious mother who had a never ending love for her children, grandchildren, family, and church. She is not gone from us, but has just gone ahead. Her deep faith in God tells us that she is no longer broken in body, but is now whole with the Lord. Bernice was a very unique and loving lady, who was a devoted Christian and incredible woman. She was loved by all and cherished by many, as she made everyone feel special.
She was the daughter of late L.C. and Daisy Phillips Strange and was preceded in death by her husband, Claude V. Hall, Jr.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Lloyd Huiting and Martha and Thurman Loveday; brother, Colbert Strange; sister-in-law, Dulcie Strange; brother-in-law, Grady Williams. Survived by her children, Claude V. Hall, III and wife Debbie, Cindy Petrous, Denise Price White, Stuart Hall, and Susan Hall Finnerty; grandchildren, Meghan Flora (Kyle), John-Claude Hall, Mariah Brady (Andy), Justin Price (Ashley), and Danielle White; great grandchildren, Natalie, Ainsley, Eli, Cormac, Aiowa, and Dallas; brothers, Warren Strange and Cecil Strange; sisters, Deloris Williams and Gladys Sellars (Bill); special friends, Margie Martin and Betty Jo Reese.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016, 7:30pm at Swanns Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Haun and Rev. John Price officiating. Interment graveside services will be on Thursday, 11:00am at Swanns Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 7:30pm prior to services at the church.
