OBITUARY:
REVEREND BENJAMIN F. LYNCH, age 82, of New Market, TN, Pastor Emeritus of Oakland United Methodist Church and Wesley Chapel, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 1, 2007. Born on April 13, 1924 in Campbell County, TN, he was the youngest of 12 children of Reverend John F. and Mary Mosse Rouse Lynch. Preceded in death by the love of his life, Mary Jean Burris Lynch; great grandson, Jesse Wayne Ray and eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, Robert and Binnie Jean Ray, Suzanne Lynch Peck, Tom and Donna Faye Cason, John and Pam Lynch, James and Kathy Lynch; grandchildren, Jeff Ray, John Ray, Ben Ray, Josslyn Ray, Jeanny Kelly, Wes Pratt, David Peck, Shane Carver, Kim Carver, Misty Patterson, Nikkia Marks, Amber Lynch, Brandon Lynch, Megan Bullington, Bethany Lynch, Zach Lynch, Ian Lynch; nine great-grandchildren; brother, James Martin Lynch of Haines City, FL; sisters, Lorraine Wallace of Knoxville,TN and Patton Newton of Homosassa, FL; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2007 from the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Pastor Stephen Burkhardt and Pastor Thomas Underwood officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
