Mrs. Crye was a life long resident of Jefferson City and was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ted R. Crye, to whom she was married for 54 years; and her parents, J. E. Gibbons and Mary Cate Gibbons, of Talbott, TN. She is survived by her son, Wayne Crye, of Cleveland and daughter-in-law, Suzanne Crye; two granddaughters, Alisa Crye of Jefferson City and Carla Crye of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2004 at Farrar Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Herron officiating. Graveside interment services will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening, September 12, 2004 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
