Barbara Shands

BARBARA SHANDS, age 76, of Talbott, TN passed away on September 21, 2014. She was an avid animal lover, Cubs fan, and enjoyed gardening. She was born in Hartford, CT and attended the American School for the Deaf. Preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Nellie Eib; former husband, Jack Shands. She is survived by her daughter, Kristina (Tina) Shands; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Amy Shands; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Kyle Graham; granddaughter, Isabella; sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Don Henthorn, Carolyn and Richard Strelau; several nieces and nephews. A celebration visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home.
