Barbara Idol Seals

BARBARA IDOL SEALS, age 69, of Sneedville, TN passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Life Care Center of Jefferson City after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a retired seamstress with C. R. Daniel and BAE. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, known as “Mamaw” to all who ever met her. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Idol; mother and step-father, Corene Helton Idol Gray and L. C. (Bud) Gray; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn Sue and Gary Cameron; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Sue Idol; niece, Starla Cameron Coffey; and nephew, Chucky Idol. She is survived by her only daughter and best friend, Stacey (Britt) Farrar; her soulmate, Robert “Bob” Michaels; granddaughters, Ashley Eggers and Abby Kincer; grandson, Gage Farrar; step-grandsons, Tyler and Taylor Farrar; great-grandchildren, Ashton “Boo” Millington, Kaidence “Kaidy” and Kambri “Kami” Kincer; sister, Brenda (Don) Harris of Knoxville; brother, Charles Idol of Luttrell; several nieces and nephews who she was a second mother to. “A special thank you to the staff of Life Care who took care of Mom. She and I grew a love and bond with the staff and caregivers that made us feel safe, with the security of care and love that we will be forever grateful for.” Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Robert White officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
