Barbara Brooks Lewis

Barbara June (Brooks) Roach Lewis, age 83, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Jefferson Park in Dandridge. She was much loved by all that knew her. She never met a stranger and made friends with all she met. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Farris and Mossie Brooks; husband, D.A. Lewis; son, Ronnie Lynn Roach; sister, Faye Stamey; and brother, Allen Brooks. She is survived by children, Gary Ray Roach, Anita Gail Berger, Rita Joyce Littleton, Lisa Darlene Dockery, and Darwin Lewis; sister, Debbie McCann; nieces, Joanne and Janie, and Barbara Allen Brooks; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 6:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Rev. Tommy Lindsey officiating. The family will receive friends prior to service from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Family and friends will meet at Oakland Baptist Church cemetery on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 11:00am for the graveside service. The family would like to give a special thanks to Jefferson Park at Dandridge for their exceptional care and love they have shown Barbara throughout her stay.
